Sun 'n Fun 2007 was held at the Lakeland Linder Regional Airport this week. The Coconut Flyers Stearman was sitting in the warbirds section for judging before taxiing back to the antique/classic area. 17th.
The
weather
was
a
bit
too
cool
for
some
who
opted
to
arrive
in
closed-cabin
aircraft.
Despite
the
low
temperatures,
several
brave
souls
brought
their
Stearmans,
Wacos,
Great
Lakes
and
Beechcraft
biplanes
to
the
grass
strip
near

The Florida Antique Biplane Association Fly-In was held at Kermit Week's Fantasy of Flight on Saturday, May 20th. Twenty-six aircraft flew in to the grass strip near Polk City for lunch at the officer's club. After touring the restoration facilities, it was short hop to Chalet Suzanne, just north of Lake Wales.
